Answers to the questions students, families, and teachers ask most
From pricing to academic integrity, here’s how Wizzist works, what our tutors can do, and how Smart Wizz AI keeps learning personal and responsible.
Plans, Pricing & Accounts
How does Wizzist pricing work? +
Every learner starts on the Free plan — binders, notes, tasks, class schedules, and the calculator are included with no credit card.
The Pro plan ($29/month) unlocks ChatGPT 5, Claude Sonnet tutoring, Math Wizz AI, Study Hall, AI Detective, GPA Attack Plans, Email Writer, and 10M monthly tokens.
The Wizard plan ($49/month) adds Claude Opus 4, Gemini Pro 2.5 validation, Essay Coach, Test Prep Suite, Deep Think sessions, and 20M monthly tokens plus team-ready tools.
Need more seats? Wizard Team covers up to 5 learners with pooled usage, and Class Plan (coming soon) will support classrooms with up to 20 students. View the latest pricing at wizzist.com/pricing.
How do sessions and tokens work? +
Sessions measure major AI interactions — generating a tutor conversation, building a quiz, creating flashcards, grading an essay, etc. Each plan includes a monthly session allowance and we show usage inside Settings ▸ Usage.
Tokens measure the raw AI compute for long answers or project-sized outputs. Free users do not spend tokens, while Pro and Wizard track monthly token pools (10M and 20M respectively) so you can see where effort goes.
When usage hits a limit we’ll nudge you in the app and offer upgrade or reset guidance — no surprise overages.
How do I get support? +
Email us anytime at support@wizzist.com — we respond within one business day (often sooner during the school year).
You can also open the in-app Help ▸ Contact Support panel for billing help, plan changes, or to report an issue. Teachers and administrators receive priority routing when they mention their school or district.

AI Models & Tutors
Which AI models power Wizzist? +
Wizzist blends today’s strongest models:
- ChatGPT 5 (OpenAI) for logic, planning, and code reasoning.
- Claude Opus 4 (Anthropic) for deep tutoring conversations, writing, and philosophy-level analysis.
- Gemini Pro 2.5 (Google) for fact checking, citation verification, charts, and image understanding.
Smart Wizz orchestrates these models with your context, so the tutor remembers past lessons, class binders, and study goals.
What do Wizzist tutors actually do? +
Tutors are AI companions trained on school-ready workflows. They switch subjects, follow multi-step prompts, assign practice, and stay in character (e.g., Albert for math, Sofia for language arts).
Each tutor knows your Smart Wizz profile — strengths, preferred explanations, saved binders — and can escalate to Study Hall, quizzes, or flashcards when it makes sense.
You can browse tutors at wizzist.com/pages/tutors.
What services are included with Wizzist? +
Alongside core tutoring, Pro and Wizard plans include:
- Study Hall – AI flashcards, practice problems, cheat sheets, quizzes.
- Math Wizz – symbol-by-symbol math reasoning, graphs, and LaTeX.
- AI Detective & Grader – originality checks and rubric-based grading.
- Email Writer & Formatter – professional messages and MLA/APA formatting.
- Essay Coach & Test Prep Suite – long-form drafting, SAT/ACT drills, and walkthroughs.
Every tool integrates with binders, assignments, and Smart Wizz analytics.
Academic Integrity & Teaching
Is using Wizzist considered cheating? +
No. Wizzist is built to coach, not to covertly finish work. Tutors cite sources, show steps, and encourage you to attempt questions first. AI Detective lets you run originality checks on your own drafts so you can share clean work with teachers.
We encourage students to follow their school’s honor code: ask the tutor to explain, outline, or review — then submit your own words.
Should teachers be concerned about Wizzist? +
Teachers tell us Wizzist reduces grading load and provides better visibility into student prep. With shared binders and upcoming Class Plans, educators can assign AI-assisted practice, see which steps students requested, and review generated quizzes or flashcards before sharing.
We’re happy to onboard faculty, answer policy questions, and help set guardrails. Contact us at schools@wizzist.com.
What is Smart Wizz? +
Smart Wizz is our personalization engine. It tracks study sessions, remembers context from binders, adapts guidance to your mastery level, and routes requests to the right model.
Think of it as the “brain” that sits on top of ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini so each response fits your learning journey. Dive deeper at wizzist.com/pages/smart_wizz.
